Xi Liu

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Xi Liu (they/she) is a Sydney based Clinical Psychologist. After completing their Advanced Schema Therapy training in New York/New Jersey, they were inspired by Dr Jeffrey Young and Wendy Behary to continue engagement with the international ISST community. Their early use of telehealth led to the development of webinars and resources to adapt Schema Therapy to an online environment. Xi is also a trainer with Schema Therapy Training Australia and regularly provides training and supervision in Australia, New Zealand, China and Hong Kong. Xi is also a member of Gender Galaxy – a group of mental health practitioners focused on the therapeutic and advocacy needs of transgender and gender diverse clients in Sydney. Xi works extensively with multicultural and LGBTQ clients on complex trauma, grief, personality disorders and Axis I mood disorders.
